William Gale Whitlock

William Gale Whitlock, 81 of Shelburn IN, entered Heaven's Gates on Monday, April 15, 2024. Gale passed away at 6:55 PM in his home surrounded by loving family and friends. William was born November 8, 1942, to Billy Bob Whitlock and Lucille “Tilly” Romine Whitlock. He was Married to Suzette (Dozier) Whitlock for 60 years and they had 3 children together. Gale worked in Maintenance at Chesty Foods and Specialty Blanks. He retired in 2004 and continued to do maintenance for Sullivan Lanes until 2017. He was a member of Sullivan Church of the Nazarene for 40 years. 

William Gale is preceded in death by his parents, stepmother Rose (Butler) Whitlock, and his sister Sharon Wence of Sullivan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Suzette (Dozier) Whitlock, Children Tracy Whitlock (Amy) of Shelburn, Bambi Lynn Whitlock of Shelburn, Christa Waterman (Warren) of Sullivan, Niece Melissa Snead (Billy) of Sullivan, nephew Todd Wence of Calisle, Grandchildren Courtney Cooper (David), Lacey Ball (Mike), Rachel Whitlock, Levi Whitlock (Tayla), Kendra King (Brandon), Trey Waterman (Ashley), Parker Fry (Emma), 13 beautiful great grandchildren, his precious best friend Sadie Lynn, and his fur baby. 

Gale will be greatly missed by all. We love you so much Dad.
